E-MAX SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH HYPERDRIVE INNOVATION

E-Max Systems, a leading UK manufacturing ERP software provider, today announced that the North East’s pioneering battery manufacturer, Hyperdrive Innovations, has chosen E-Max ERP to power their key manufacturing and business operations. This appointment reinforces E-Max Systems’ continued development and reputation as they are selected as the provider of choice by an increasing number of progressive UK manufacturers.

Hyperdrive Innovation is regarded as one of the North East’s leading technology and manufacturing companies. The company develops innovative battery technologies to power electric vehicles, homes and businesses and is well-known for its work with both national and international brands to electrify their vehicle fleets for use in city centres, construction sites and transport hubs.

Pam Lewin, Purchasing Manager at Hyperdrive Innovation explained the reasons why Hyperdrive were seeking an ERP system: “Hyperdrive has experienced significant expansion over the last couple of years and to continue to grow as a business, we recognised that we would need to improve our processes to keep up with the increasing demand from our customers.

“One of the key reasons we decided to select E-Max was the flexibility of their software. Whilst we are a manufacturer at core, we operate in an evolving technology industry which can develop very quickly, thus requiring adaptation of our manufacturing processes. E-Max ERP offers us the agility to move with technology advancements and gives us the best of both worlds.”

“We are looking forward to having a cross-functional system in place which will facilitate more coherent communication across the company. The end results of this will enable us to offer our customers reduced lead times and even higher quality products.”

E-Max ERP is an Enquiry to Invoice software application designed by engineers for engineers. Optimised for manufacturing and engineering SMEs such as Hyperdrive Innovations, the software is proven to facilitate business growth. E-Max ERP allows companies to replace multiple spreadsheets or legacy systems and consolidate their data so they are able to make informed real-time decisions. The system includes functionality rarely offered in off-the-shelf software packages and encompasses Customer Relationship Management, Order Processing, Production Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, Warehouse Management, Financials, Shop Floor Data Collection and Capacity Planning & Finite Scheduling.

Jason Pritchard, Sales Director of E-Max Systems acknowledges that this appointment is a significant win for E-Max; “We are proud to be working with a company of the stature of Hyperdrive Innovation. Their work in developing clean energy alternatives to fossil fuel is extremely impressive. Hyperdrive is a forward thinking organisation and the synergies with E-Max, who are regularly at the forefront of harnessing new technologies to develop our software, make us an excellent fit to work together.”

“E-Max ERP enables companies like Hyperdrive to streamline their processes and enjoy increased efficiency. The benefits of this can be quickly seen in a reduction in costs and wastage, as well as shortened delivery times to customers. In addition, Hyperdrive will have visibility across all of their manufacturing operations for the first time, allowing them to identify any under-performing areas or bottlenecks and take affirmative action immediately.”

E-Max ERP’s implementation project will commence in late April and is expected to take up to nine months for full implementation across the company.

Chris Pennison, CEO of Hyperdrive Innovation, concluded, “We’re very pleased to be partnering with E-Max Systems to support Hyperdrive in our new phase of growth. As a local business with global reach, E-Max Systems have been highly responsive to our needs and will provide real time improvements to our manufacturing processes as we scale up production to meet the demands our growing customer base.”
