AMF 20th Anniversary & AMF WOMEN 1st Year Celebration
Celebrate 20 years of AMF and the first anniversary of AMF WOMEN with food, drinks, familiar faces and compere Alfie Joey.

- 20 years of the Advanced Manufacturing Forum
- The first anniversary of AMF WOMEN
This is more than an anniversary event. It is a celebration of the people, businesses and partnerships that have helped shape AMF and supported manufacturing and engineering across the North East over the past two decades.
We’re also delighted to confirm that broadcaster, performer and much-loved North East personality Alfie Joey will be our compere for the celebration.
Everyone who has been part of the AMF journey is welcome
Whether you are a current member, former member, partner, supporter or friend of AMF, we would love you to join us.
It will be an opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, make new connections and celebrate everything our community has achieved together — while looking ahead to the next chapter for AMF and AMF WOMEN.
Event timings
The celebration will begin during the afternoon, but we appreciate that not everyone can leave work early.
- 3:00pm – Invitation-only VIP reception
- 4:00pm – General celebration arrivals
- From 5:00pm – Join us after work
- Around 5:30pm – Speeches and food
- Into the evening – Drinks, conversation and celebration
If you cannot join us earlier, please come along after work from 5pm. The main speeches and food will not begin until approximately 5:30pm, so you won’t miss the heart of the celebration.
Food and drinks will be provided, with plenty of time to relax, reconnect and enjoy the occasion on Newcastle Quayside.
Celebrating the community behind AMF
The AMF story has always been about people: those who started the Forum, those who sustained it, those who joined along the way and those who are now helping us shape its future.
The evening will also recognise the businesses and individuals supporting this milestone celebration, including our recognition partners, Celebration Wall supporters and longstanding AMF partners.
Their support is helping us bring the manufacturing community together and carry the AMF 20 legacy into the future.
