Responsive Engineering – Skills Event (Open to educational establishments only)
We will once again visit Responsive Engineering/Pearson Engineering, Newcastle as part of a future skills workforce event.
We will hear from Rachel Mansfield, MD at Responsive Engineering on her journey from an engineering graduate, through her time in the oil & gas industry, international travel, being a female in a predominantly male environment to her current role as MD of Responsive Engineering.
We will also hear from some of the current workforces at both Responsive and Pearson Engineering on the roles they work in, why and how they took the step into the engineering/manufacturing sector, and highlight some of the fantastic opportunities the sector can offer to those looking to get involved and take a up a career in engineering/manufacturing.
Agenda:
10:00 – Arrival, intro, and H&S
The group will then split. Some will start with Responsive Engineering, Pearson Engineering, or a tour of both factories. Everyone will do all three. We will then arrive back for lunch around 12:30 with some inspirational talks from guests whilst lunch is being eaten.
13:30 – Event Close
