Open North Foundation Business Networking Event

Hear from our Chair Richard Swart about the work of ONF within the region and on the broadened scope of the foundation supporting North East SMEs

During the evening, there will be a chance to network with Directors and Ambassadors, a wide range of North East businesses, as well as learn more about the impact ONF has had and what that has meant to individual businesses in real terms. The fantastic Alfie Joey from BBC Radio Newcastle will be Master of Ceremonies, with other guest speakers sharing insight on the employment market, training needs and opportunities.

Our new Ambassador Arnab Basu MBE DL, CEO of Kromek Group plc will say a few words.

The event is supported by a wide range of organisations including the Advanced Manufacturing Forum, North East Initiative on Business Ethics, Zenith Training, Newcastle Business School, Teesside University and Ramside Hall Hotel.

Welcome drinks, light bites and tea and coffee will be served. The event is free of charge, however, if you would like to make a donation to the foundation or support in any way, we would be delighted to talk to you on the evening, or at any time.

Note : Open North Foundation is a not for profit company, which was established to assist businesses and people of the North East to recover from the ravages of COVID-19. We have broadened our scope as we hopefully continue to move away from significant COVID impacts and will now also support small and early stage businesses which have a compelling case but have been adversely affected by recent economic shocks. ONF has a particular emphasis on supporting personnel development, training and apprenticeships. All work carried out by ONF is completely voluntary, with every penny of funding donated and raised going direct to local businesses. Although there is no charge for this event, if you would like to make a donation or pledge support in any way, regardless of your ability to attend this event, we would love to hear from you.
