AMF WOMEN x Power of Women @ Cummins Celebrating INWED 2026
The Advanced Manufacturing Forum (AMF WOMEN) is pleased to be collaborating with the Power of Women network and Cummins for a special International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) event focused on visibility, progression and opportunity within engineering and manufacturing.
Hosted at Cummins Darlington, the event will bring together women from across different stages of their engineering careers for an honest and inspiring panel discussion exploring pathways into industry, career development, leadership and the future of manufacturing and engineering.
The panel will be chaired by Dr Caroline Theobald CBE and will feature:
- T-Level engineering student from Middlesbrough College
- Amy Gilmore, Turntide Technologies – Early Career Engineering
- Aisha Mistry, Rolls-Royce – Mid-Career Engineering
- Senior engineering representative from Cummins
Attendees will hear real experiences from women currently shaping the future of engineering, while exploring the opportunities, challenges and support networks that help drive long-term careers within the sector.
The event will also include:
- Networking opportunities
- Cummins site tour
- Discussions around engineering pathways, inclusion and leadership
- Opportunities to connect with peers across manufacturing and engineering
This collaborative event forms part of INWED 2026 celebrations and supports the ongoing work being carried out across the region to strengthen visibility and representation within engineering and manufacturing.
