Monthly Meeting

AMF Monthly Meeting @ Press on Vinyl

Join us for our next monthly meeting and site tour. This time we visit Press On Vinyl in Middlesbrough.

Record pressing plant Press on Vinyl; opened in early 2022 in Middlesbrough’s Tees Advanced Manufacturing Park.

Just over a year later the company has 32 employees and is already looking to double production with the aim of producing 100,000 records a month.

The facility operates with state-of-the-art technology to produce unique vinyls, as well as providing soundproof mixing facilities and a recording studio.

They also have all three stages of the disc manufacturing process in-house from the cutting of the master disc to the stampers produced by our electro-forming department and finally the mass production of the PVC records in their automatic pressing machines. They are about to launch an alternative PVC compound that significantly reduces the overall product carbon footprint and are investigating new ways to improve our overall eco-credentials through the use of green energy.

We are sure you will find this event enjoyable and the tour will show you the whole process of production.

This event is in partnership with Middlesbrough Council and is a soft launch in Middlesbrough, with more events to come in the future. The council is kindly covering the cost of lunch as the event partner.

Spaces are limited, so please book quickly to avoid disappointment.
