Monthly Meeting

AMF Monthly Meeting – EBAC site visit and tour

Our November monthly meeting takes us to Ebac in Newton Aycliffe. Ebac manufacture water coolers, dehumidifiers and since 2010, washing machines.

We will hear from company founder John Elliott MBE DL. John has always been passionate about serving customers, adding value to products and solving problems. John believes that “businesses are here to serve people – not the other way around”.

In 2012 Ebac Limited was gifted by John Elliott MBE DL to a foundation. The foundation will ensure Ebac Limited can never be sold or moved from County Durham – protecting local jobs and manufacturing in this region forever.

This is sure to be a fascinating insight from John on how the company started in the 1970’s to where it is now.

We will start with networking and lunch, presentation, then a site tour.

Agenda:

12:00 – 12:30; Arrival, networking, and lunch

12:30 – 12:50; AMF Introduction, manufacturers round-up

12:50 – 13:25; Ebac Story
