Business development apprentice joins the HOS team

Sunderland based Hydraulic & Offshore Supplies (HOS), are continuing to invest in the future as they welcome another apprentice to their team, the second to join the business in a matter of months.

Nineteen-year-old Connor Johnson has joined the company as a business development apprentice, sourced by local recruitment provider, Zenith People.

Working alongside HOS’s senior leadership team, Connor will be attending local events and exhibitions, maintaining contact with current clients and looking at potential opportunities for the company within the national and international supply chain.

As the established north east company look to maintain their continued growth, the new recruit comes hot on the heels of another recent addition of a manufacturing apprentice to the business.

Managing director, Don Fenwick, shared his comments on the new addition to the team, ‘We’re delighted that Connor has joined the business and has already attended events with Nicola, our sales & marketing executive.

The fluid power industry provides a vast array of opportunities and as a business that has its roots firmly in the north east, we’re proud to be employing young local people to work with us on our future growth.

We’re looking forward to Connor progressing his career with HOS and learning more about our industry.
