SPECIALIST HYDRAULICS SUPPLIER AWARDED INDUSTRY ACCREDITATION

Congratulations to AMF member, Hydraulic and Offshore Supplies (HOS) for obtaining another key accreditation – DNV-GL ISO 9001:2015.

Sunderland-based HOS is a specialist supplier of hose, fittings, instrumentation, and pipeline materials, supporting a widespread customer base, spanning across a range of industrial sectors.

The ISO 9001 accreditation which HOS has been awarded, provides a model in quality management systems, which focuses on the effectiveness of the processes in a business to achieve desired results. This independent accreditation has allowed HOS to provide its customers with an even more efficient service, saving them time and resources by removing the need to undertake their own audits, as well as providing customers with the reassurance that an accredited supplier professionally handles their businesses.

DNV GL is a global quality assurance and risk management company which provides classification, technical assurance, software, and independent expert advisory services to the maritime, oil and gas, power and renewables industries.

Don Fenwick, Managing Director of Hydraulic and Offshore Supplies, said: “We are truly delighted to be ISO9001:2015 accredited. This is an important milestone in our 30-year history and demonstrates our commitment to continuously grow and improve.

“Not only does this accreditation give our customers peace of mind that they are working with a company that has a strong reputation for quality and technical knowledge, but we have also noticed some internal improvements. Our Quality Management System has increased in efficiency since the accreditation, which has further improved our already strong customer relationships.”

Hydraulic and Offshore Supplies is a member of the British Fluid Power Distributor Association and Shipserv. The company also boasts accreditations from testing bodies Lloyds and ABS.
