Regional Waste Recycler CJM Recycling Achieves Good Work Pledge Award

Wallsend – CJM Recycling proudly announces its achievement of the Advanced ‘Good Work Pledge’ (GWP) Award, a recognition bestowed by the North of Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA). The GWP program celebrates organisations that prioritise providing good working conditions for their employees.

The GWP program offers two levels of recognition: standard and advanced. Businesses undergo a thorough evaluation process to demonstrate their commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

CJM Recycling showcased their dedication to creating a supportive workplace through its employee-centric initiatives, including comprehensive healthcare benefits and flexible work arrangements. Furthermore, the company’s active involvement in community initiatives, such as supporting local sports teams including Shiremoor Amateur Boxing Club and Blyth Town FC junior teams, as well as its corporate partnership with cultural institutions like the Theatre Royal in Newcastle, underscored their commitment to societal well-being.

Jayde Boyce McQuade, Director at CJM Recycling, expressed her excitement about the achievement, emphasising the company’s dedication to fostering a positive workplace culture. She stated, “At CJM, we prioritise creating a work environment where our employees feel valued and fulfilled. Receiving the Good Work Pledge Award validates our efforts to cultivate a positive and supportive workplace culture.”

Jayde added, “Growing a small business is a balancing act, however we firmly believe that building for a successful long-term future requires creating an environment where our people can thrive and grow with the business. We are always learning but are enjoying the journey and are committed to continued improvement and development.”

This accolade adds to CJM Recycling’s recent accomplishments, following the attainment of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 accreditations earlier this year.
