Impeller Shortlisted in the North East Charity Awards

AMF member and North East social enterprise, Impeller Assurance & Resilience have been shortlisted in the North East Charity Awards 2019.

The company based in Sunderland is thrilled to have received recognition in the Outstanding Social Enterprise category which invites entries from North East based charities & social enterprises.  The awards are designed to recognise the hard work and innovative thinking by our local charities and celebrate those who work tirelessly to support the many good causes in our region.

Impeller CEO, Will Fatherley, said: “We are immensely proud to have been shortlisted in the outstanding social enterprise category, our whole team are passionate about the social value we can bring to the North East region and work hard to give back to our local area via education programmes, training and charitable events.  Being shortlisted in the North East Charity Awards gives the whole team recognition for their hard work and we are all proud of what we have achieved.”

Impeller are the commercial partner of the Tyne & Wear Fire & Rescue Service and provide workplace training and fire compliance services to businesses across the UK.  The company has expanded since its incorporation four years ago and has won prestigious fire safety contracts with English Heritage, Northumbria Police and South Tyneside College.
