Liebherr

Liebherr Sunderland Works Ltd. produces ship cranes, offshore cranes and special cranes. The company was founded in 1989. Liebherr took over at that time the facilities of the Deptford Wharf, the oldest wharf in the United Kingdom, in the port city of Sunderland. The company set up a modern production plant for maritime cranes in Sunderland close to the mouth of the River Wear.
