Cell Pack Solutions Awards Contract to Reprotec in Member Collaboration
Custom battery pack manufacturer and AMF member, Cell Pack Solutions, sought the services of Reprotec, a contractor of resin flooring and fellow AMF member.
Having heard that Reprotec were also an AMF member, Cell Pack Solutions approached them at a local event. The introduction proved successful, and Cell Pack Solutions contracted Reprotec to carry out remedial work on its warehouse and workshop flooring.
The project consisted of corrective work to two floors that had been installed several years earlier and had begun to suffer from flaking paint. Reprotec’s specialist diamond grinder was used to remove the paint and expose the concrete substrate beneath, before two coats of Ecoguard, Reprotec’s own brand of high-build, environmentally-friendly epoxy resin, was applied to the surface to repair the damage.
Eddie Czestochowski, Managing Director of Cell Pack Solutions, said of the project: “Our priority was minimising down time. We gave our staff an extra day off prior to the May Bank Holiday, and the team from Reprotec came in and completed the job within the agreed timescale, which allowed the floor to completely dry out over the long weekend. They did a great job; I would highly recommend them.”
