ITC Service wins Digital Technology award for its unique cloud-based technology solution

South Tyneside-based managed service provider, ITC Service recently won the Digital Technology award at the North East Business Awards 2019 for its innovative ‘Ninja’ platform.

ITC Service offers a wide range of essential bespoke IT and technology solutions and support to businesses throughout the North East, nationally and internationally.

The Ninja platform is a revolutionary state-of-the-art cloud-based solution which allows users to access their desktop apps and data from any device, anywhere, at any time securely, without the need for a VPN connection.

Ensuring the user maintains an internet connection, Ninja allows them to access the capabilities and storage capacity of the cloud, which is beyond the capabilities of most traditional onsite servers.

Ninja is also unique in being able to offer Sage as an active application within a cloud-based setting, allowing Sage users to also utilise the application on any device, anywhere and at any time.

The current Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the increasing demand for a platform such as Ninja, ensuring businesses operations continue to run smoothly with minimal disruption, despite employees working from home.

Eddie Czestochowski, founder and managing director of AMF member company Cell Pack Solutions which recently adopted the Ninja platform, said:

“As a manufacturer involved in supplying the medical and emergency services sector, we needed to maintain our production capability. We upgraded our IT system out of necessity, our previous system had served us well for over 10 years, but we were forced to change due to the termination of Windows 7 and Server 2008 operating systems.

“We decided to move away from the onsite traditional server and move everything to a cloud-based platform, though we were struggling to find a satisfactory solution until we came across the Ninja platform hosted by ITC Service.

“The benefits of Ninja have been proven to us during the unexpected outbreak of Covid-19 which disrupted normal business operations for many organisations. Our staff were able to take home their PCs and continue to work with no issues. It acted as a contingency plan that we thought would never be needed.”
