AMF Breakfast Event – Equality, Diversity & Inclusivity; Positive Action

The issue of inequality in the workplace is gaining momentum and is ever-evolving, make sure your organisation is not left behind…

Those who are proactively introducing and developing ED&I practices are already reaping the benefits. Unfortunately, many are still learning the hard way, risking their organisation’s performance, culture and reputation through knee-jerk reactive responses. ED&I is still uncharted waters for many and successfully navigating its complexity can be daunting!

Join us for this session delivered by 50:50 Future specifically designed for you to take positive action, avoid the pit-fall of a tick-box narrative and embed inclusion holistically across your organisation. Starting off with their Seven Steps to Better Balance, this framework will give you space to take stock, reflect and review your current practices leading to a solid starting point in identifying areas requiring improvement within the business along with simple strategies you can implement to create meaningful change. As well as the valuable knowledge from our consultants, you will also have the benefit of gaining insights into challenges and areas of best practice from peers within your sector.

HR and Senior leaders are often at the front line of hiring diverse talent, nurturing inclusive workplaces and of course, dealing with any ED&I related claims, tribunals and grievances. From this short and impactful session, participants will get food for thought on how to;

● Further develop your practices and perspectives

● Build and retain strong, high performing teams

● Embed inclusive strategies aligned to the organisation’s goals, behaviours and values

● Minimise risk/exposure to ensure compliance with legal requirements

As well as hearing from other industry professionals, exchanging experiences, sharing ideas and tackling barriers to inclusion collaboratively.

This session is for any Senior Leader, HR professional (or related roles) who are seeking the right approach to embedding inclusive practices into their workplace or looking to refresh their existing ED&I strategy.

Agenda:

0830 : 0900 – Arrival, networking & breakfast

0900 : 11:00 – 50/50 Future – Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, plus Group Discussion/Roundtable
