North East manufacturing organisations to gain essential marketing advice
Leading figures from some of the North East’s renowned manufacturing organisations will discuss how clear and connected marketing has been critical to growth. Aimed specifically at manufacturing organisations, delegates will be provided with key industry insight in to how a focused marketing strategy will support future growth ambitions.
With the aim to drive discussions, share best practice and implement fundamental marketing advice, the event will help to sustain and grow the manufacturing space within the North East. As official and strategic marketing partner of the Advanced Manufacturing Forum (AMF), Horizon Works will be hosting its next marketing club on Thursday 29 November 2018 at Durham County Cricket Club.
Along with this, attendees will be given the opportunity to hear from guest speakers, Graeme Parkins, managing director of Dyer Engineering and Stephen Irish, managing director of Hyperdrive Innovation.
Dyer Engineering, a successful, precision machining and fabrication business, in County Durham has grown by 50% in the past 12 months and employs over 200 people. With ambitious growth plans, Graeme will discuss how the business has embarked on a refocusing of its marketing strategy and a re-boot of its branding.
Hyperdrive Innovation brings to the market clean energy alternatives to fossil fuels. With dedicated manufacturing facilities in Sunderland and Asia, Stephen will tell the story of his product roadmap, from initial design concepts right through to volume production, all in effort to cater to the world’s demand for cleaner air.
Samantha Davidson, managing director of Horizon Works commented: “The manufacturing industry is one that is competitive and continues to evolve and a clear and focused marketing strategy can help future proof these organisations. We are passionate about providing AMF members with the insight into best practice within the marketing sector and our marketing clubs are key methods to do this.
“Dyer Engineering and Hyperdrive Innovation are strong and successful manufacturing organisations with strong roots in the North East and we are delighted that Graeme and Stephen will be able to share their marketing stories” she adds.
Held once a quarter, the marketing club aims to provide AMF members with the practical tools, tips and advice that they can use to plan their marketing activities.
